²⁵ Then they slaughtered a bull, and they brought the boy to Eli. ²⁶ And she said, “Oh, my lord! As you live, my lord, I am the woman that stood by you here praying to the Lord. ²⁷ For this boy I prayed, and the Lord has given me my petition which I asked of Him.
